Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to provide support to pupils across the primary age range. You may be supporting children individually, in small groups, or within the classroom environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Helping create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with their social and emotional development.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Assisting with classroom organisation and general school duties.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• Passionate about working with children.
• Patient, caring and approachable.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and professional.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Confident working as part of a team.
• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have both a Child DBS and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service.
Relevant experience within a school, nursery, college, care setting or similar environment would be advantageous.
