Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant
At Axcis Education we support education-based settings with staffing. Our candidates have strong knowledge of SEND and demonstrate their ability to apply reasonable adjustments to support children and young people to achieve their full potential.
We are seeking to on board new candidates via our “Trainee Teaching Assistant” programme. We are expanding our candidate talent pool in the Bury, Prestwich and Salford area. This is great opportunity for anyone returning to work, or someone that is looking for a flexible role.
As a Trainee you will have access to a number of nationally accredited CPD courses, as well as a support from consultants who have worked in the education sector.
Essential Criteria:
• Strong spoken English
• Either professional or personal experience supporting others with SEND (ages 0-19)
• DBS on update service or willingness to pay for one
• CV covering the past 10 years with references to cover any gaps in employment
• Overseas candidates must have an overseas police check- before applying
Desirable Criteria:
• Level 2+ Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Qualification
