Job Title: Trauma & Wellbeing Coach
Axcis Education are working with a fantastic independent special school who are seeking a full-time Trauma & Wellbeing Coach to join their team. This is a full time roel, working 8.30-16.00. Rate of pay varies from £95-£110 a day, depending on previous experience and qualifications. This is a permanent position starting in January 2026. This school caters for students aged 8–16 with SEMH, ADHD and complex needs. With a recent site expansion, the school offers excellent facilities and a nurturing environment where students can thrive. Their curriculum is broad, creative, and designed to ignite passions and build confidence, helping young people prepare for adulthood and future employment. The role involves: •Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis •Using trauma-informed approaches to help learners overcome barriers •Promoting engagement, emotional resilience, and positive behaviour •Working closely with staff to create a supportive learning environment What we’re looking for: •Experience supporting young people with SEMH, ADHD, or other SEND needs •Resilient, compassionate and patient individuals •A driver with access to a car (ideal but not essential) This is a live position with the school interviewing candidates between 15th-17th December.
