Job Title: Youth Worker for PRU Unit, Liverpool
Youth Worker pupil referral unit Axcis Education is currently looking for a youth worker for a behavioral unit based in L4 Merseyside. We are looking for a candidate ideally that has a background within youth work, and is perhaps seeking a new opportunity within an educational setting. Pupils attending this school have additional needs, which can include challenging behavior, social and emotional mental health and ADHD. Students in this PRU can no longer attend mainstream education, often they can require extra assistance during lessons, so the school need a support worker with youth work experience to help students 1-1 with disengaged students. This school are looking for someone caring and compassionate with some level of experience with children, ideally with some knowledge of social and emotional mental health. This school is relatively small; it has around 50 pupils so it is really focused on individual experience for the children. This school is relatively small, it has around 50 pupils so and the role will start as soon as possible, normal school hours 8:30 -15:30 apply. Pay will be £70 per day.
