Axcis Education is Looking for an Art Teacher – Secondary SEN School, Enfield (EN3) Age Group: Secondary Students About the Role: Axcis Education is seeking a talented and creative Art Teacher to join a secondary SEN school in Enfield (EN3). The school supports students with a range of special educational needs with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour, and as an Art Teacher, you’ll play a key role in helping these students express themselves and develop their artistic skills in a safe, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach: Deliver engaging and creative art lessons to secondary students with diverse SEN needs. Support: Provide tailored instruction to help students build their artistic abilities and self-confidence. Collaborate: Work closely with the wider team to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (timings to be confirmed). Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) or similar SEN environment is preferred but not essential. A passion for teaching art and working with secondary-aged students. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of students. A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to helping students thrive.
