Job Title: Children & Young Adult's Deputy Manager
Deputy Manager - Children and Young Adult Services Position: Deputy Manager (Children and Young Adult Services) Location: Local Children’s Service HARROW Start Date: January Employment Type: Full-Time Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm. Standard shifts are 8 hours per day (including breaks). Are you passionate about supporting children and young adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs? A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager to join a dedicated children’s service team and make a meaningful difference to young lives. The Role: This is a hands-on position that combines leadership and direct support. As Deputy Manager, you will: - Work with and lead a team of sessional and permanent staff to deliver outstanding care and support. - Support children and young adults aged 5 to 25 through engaging group and 1:1 sessions, both onsite and within the community. - Assist in the line management of staff, providing guidance, supervision, and motivation. - Design and implement empowering activity programs tailored to the needs of the young people. - Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. About You: To thrive in this role, you should ideally have: - Experience working in childcare, education, youth work, or a similar setting. - Previous experience managing or supervising staff. - A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Youth Work, or a related field. - A commitment to providing high-quality support to children and young adults with diverse and complex needs. - Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
