Job Title: Bank Staff SEND support
Location: Swindon, SN2
Pay: £13.69 per hour
Hours: Flexible – as and when required (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Contract: Bank staff (temporary, with potential for ongoing or permanent opportunities)

We’re seeking bank Teaching Assistants to join a specialist provision supporting pupils aged 5–19 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Whether you're looking for part-time, occasional, or term-time work, this is a great opportunity to support young people in a structured, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, and behavioural needs
• Assist with classroom activities, life skills, and emotional regulation
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support teams
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience with SEND or behaviour support is highly desirable
• Calm, reliable, and adaptable individuals who can step in when needed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A sincere interest in education, youth work, or care
Ideal Backgrounds May Include:
• Care work, residential or youth settings
• Supporting friends/family with additional needs
• Degrees or studies in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Sport, or Creative Arts
