Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Haringey
Contract Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: £85.00 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

A specialist SEND school in Haringey is looking for dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Workers to join their team on a long-term basis.
This school supports pupils aged 9 to 16 with Severe Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many students have experienced trauma, so the ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment. While experience working with children affected by trauma is an advantage, it is not a requirement for the role.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage positive engagement in learning
Provide emotional and behavioural support to help students develop resilience
Work closely with staff to maintain a structured, nurturing environment
Support pupils to reach their full academic, social, and emotional potential
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with children or young people in school or residential settings
A proactive and compassionate approach to managing behaviour
Availability between 8:00am and 4:00pm
A valid DBS Certificate registered on the DBS Update Service
