This isn’t your standard classroom gig – you’ll be working with students who need extra support managing their emotions and behaviour, helping them get back into mainstream education. It’s all about patience, positivity, and a good sense of humour (seriously, it helps!). What’s the Role About? Supporting students with SEMH needs – Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring to help students build confidence, resilience, and self-regulation skills. Behaviour management – Encouraging positive choices using reinforcement strategies, restorative approaches, and a good dose of common sense. Mentoring and motivation – Helping students set goals, believe in themselves, and develop the skills they need to thrive. Crisis intervention – Staying cool, calm, and collected when things don’t quite go to plan. Who We’re Looking For: We love people with backgrounds in coaching, security, youth work, or other high-energy roles where quick thinking and a level head are key. If you’ve spent time resolving conflicts, keeping people motivated, or managing tricky situations with tact and humour, then you’ll fit right in.
