Job Title: EYFS Lead Teacher Location: Nursery Setting, Streatham Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an experienced and passionate EYFS Teacher to join our nursery in Streatham on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional to take a lead role in shaping high-quality provision for young children. The Role As EYFS Lead Teacher, you will: Lead and oversee the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring outstanding practice across the nursery Support, mentor and inspire the early years team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, child-centred learning experiences Monitor children’s progress and ensure effective assessment, tracking and reporting Work closely with parents and carers to support each child’s development Ensure safeguarding, welfare and health & safety requirements are fully met The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 minimum; QTS/EYTS desirable) Has proven experience working within the EYFS, ideally in a leadership or senior role Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements Is an enthusiastic, reflective practitioner with excellent communication skills Is committed to inclusive practice and high-quality early years education We Offer A permanent role within a supportive and welcoming nursery environment Opportunities for professional development and career progression A chance to make a real impact during children’s crucial early years If you are a motivated EYFS professional ready to take the next step in your career and can start ASAP, we would love to hear from you.
