Job Title: HLTA/Cover Supervisor Location: Chigwell, London Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. You will be based in Chigwell, London, and will be required to play a pivotal role in supporting teaching staff and students across various departments within our educational setting. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in classroom management and delivering educational support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide classroom supervision in the absence of the subject teacher, ensuring that the pupils are on task and that the work set is completed to a high standard. - Support students with special educational needs, enabling all learners to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. - Work collaboratively with teachers to plan and deliver educational activities. - Assist in the assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils' progress and development. - Contribute to creating a positive, secure, and happy learning environment for all students. - Encourage positive student behaviour in line with school policies and manage any immediate issues. - Utilize a range of strategies to foster and maintain a constructive environment conducive to effective learning. - Participate in and contribute to team meetings and professional development sessions, enhancing your skills and knowledge as an educational professional.
