Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Are you someone who genuinely cares, listens well, and wants to make a positive difference in a child’s life? We’re looking for a calm, dependable and encouraging person to support a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis in a welcoming local primary school. The child has SEMH needs, ADHD and mild learning difficulties, and needs someone who can be a steady, reassuring presence each day. Role details: • Full-time, Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 3.30pm • Start as soon as possible • Pay: £13.70 per hour • Initial 16-week settling period with potential to become permanent • Working closely with the class teacher and pastoral team • Helping the pupil stay engaged, feel secure, build confidence and access learning About the school: You’ll be joining a lively and supportive primary school that has been rated Good by Ofsted, with particular praise for behaviour, strong leadership and the way pupils are supported to develop personally as well as academically.
