Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support professional to join our team in Dorking, Surrey. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential guidance and support to students, fostering their emotional well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer a safe and nurturing environment for students to express their concerns and feelings.
• Provide one-on-one and group support sessions addressing various emotional and behavioural issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to implement effective support strategies.
• Monitor student progress and well-being, maintaining accurate records and reporting as necessary.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, activities, and interventions to enhance resilience and personal development.
• Uphold the school’s values and promote a positive culture within the educational environment.
Qualifications:
• Experience in pastoral care, counselling, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to student support.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
