We are currently recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming and inclusive school in Redditch. This role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available, making it ideal for candidates seeking long-term work that fits around their availability.
You will work closely with pupils who have additional learning needs, providing 1:1 and small-group support to help them access the curriculum and build confidence in their learning.
Role Duties:
• Support pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 or small-group basis
• Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
• Work in partnership with teachers and SEN staff
• Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
• A caring and patient individual with a genuine interest in SEN
• Flexible, reliable, and confident working with young people
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous SEN or school experience is desirable but not essential
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
