Start Date: Immediate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: £89+ per day, depending on experience (PAYE)
Axcis is currently working with School in N17, who are looking for a range of support staff to join their welcoming and inclusive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant primary setting that values creativity, outdoor learning, and personalised education.
The school is looking for teaching assistants, sports coaches, and Year 2 ECTs who are passionate about making a difference and supporting students with a variety of needs including ASD, ADHD, non-verbal communication, challenging behaviour, EHCPs, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students in small groups, helping to differentiate learning and close progress gaps
• Assist children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal communication
• Engage with outdoor learning and forest school activities on site
• Provide personal care support where necessary
• Help implement phonics (Read Write Inc.) and White Rose Maths programmes
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience with phonics (Read Write Inc.), White Rose Maths, and/or forest school
• Experience with small group work and differentiation in the classroom
• Confidence working with children with SEND and complex needs
• Flexibility, patience, and a proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
