Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are thrilled to be supporting this popular, creative and vibrant Catholic Primary School in Bradford. With an excellent local reputation, a focus on inclusion and with superb CPD and wider staff development, the school is popular and over-subscribed.
We are working with the school to recruit two members of support staff to work with pupils with additional needs to underpin the schools commitment to inclusion and SEND. One of the roles will be across Early Years and Key Stage 1, supporting small groups with the aim of improving attainment and pupil potential. The second role is working 1:1 with a child in year 4 with an ASD diagnosis who requires support to access the curriculum with peers, but also be reactive to their sensory requirements and work with them in break-out areas and ensure learning takes place whenever appropriate.

We would also love to hear form people that may not have classroom experience but have referred or related experience such as working in Care, Sports Coaching, Drama Workshops or Music Teaching. We would also love to hear from you if you have life-based experience within your family or friends wherein you have supported and/or cared for individuals with special needs.
