Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Axcis Education is seeking a compassionate and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant to support a special school in Slough. You’ll be covering staff absences and working closely one-to-one with pupils of all ages, including those with PMLD, complex needs, autism and behaviours that can be challenging or unsafe. The role involves supporting learning, providing personal care and helping children engage safely and confidently in their daily routines. You must be comfortable managing challenging behaviour, patient and flexible, ready to step in at short notice when needed. Hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, with pay starting from £89 per day (PAYE).
