You will be part of an inclusive school that covers Early Years to Key Stage 5, fostering an environment where each student can achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the various needs and learning styles of students with SEND. - Implement Individual Education Plans and differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. - Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources, including technology, to enhance students' learning experiences. - Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and multi-disciplinary teams to promote student progress and well-being. - Establish and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. - Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records of their achievements and areas for development. - Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals regarding students' learning and progress. - Participate in professional development opportunities to further knowledge and skills related to SEND education. Qualifications and Skills: - Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Proven experience working in a SEND environment with students with a wide range of needs. - An understanding of the national curriculum across Early Years to Key Stage 5. - Strong commitment to inclusive education principles and practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage challenging behavior effectively and with patience. - Resilience, creativity, and adaptability to work within a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.
