Job Title: Teaching Assistant SEN
Are you a compassionate Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We’re seeking a dedicated LSA to join our Secondary SEN School in Enfield, where you’ll support students with SEMH and behavioural challenges. Position Details: Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: SEN Secondary School, Enfield (EN3) Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 5 days per week (Long-term, full-time) Contract Type: Long-term Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH and behavioural needs. Collaborate with teachers to develop personalised learning plans. Assist in lesson delivery and ensure full student participation. Help students build independence and confidence in all areas of school life. Ideal Candidate: Experience working with SEMH or in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs). Strong communication and the ability to manage challenging behaviours with empathy. Passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives. Committed to a long-term, full-time role.
