Job Title: Teaching Assistant SEN
Start date: January 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Enfield area (N14) is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This role will involve working closely with pupils across the primary age range who have ASD, ADHD, complex needs and non-verbal communication needs.
You will play a key role in supporting pupils to access learning, develop independence and feel safe, supported and confident throughout the school day. The school offers a collaborative environment with a strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have hands-on experience supporting children with SEN in a primary setting
• Be confident using a range of communication and behaviour strategies
• Bring a calm, patient and nurturing approach to their work
• Work effectively as part of a supportive school team
