We are looking for a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the EN8 (Waltham Cross) area.
This full-time role involves supporting pupils with ASD, complex needs, and behavioural needs, working both 1:1 and in small groups to help them access learning and develop socially and emotionally.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start: ASAP
Full-time position
The role includes:
Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
Assisting with learning activities adapted to individual needs
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting pupils with ASD and complex needs
Is patient, nurturing, and consistent
Can confidently manage behavioural challenges
Is passionate about inclusive education
