Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Salary: From £89 per day, depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to work in a supportive and welcoming primary school setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with children in schools who is looking to make a real difference in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with children to support learning
• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Assist with general classroom duties as required
Requirements:
• Experience working with children in a school setting is essential
• Must have an Enhanced DBS for Child and Adult Workforce registered on the Update Service
• Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing attitude
• Able to commit to full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
This role is to start immediately, so candidates must be available to begin work straight away.
