Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-time, 8:00am-3:30pm Salary: £90-£95 per day We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational team in Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will be committed to providing exceptional support to our students and teachers, ensuring a nurturing and effective learning environment. Responsibilities: • Assist in the delivery of planned educational activities and work alongside the lead teacher to support classroom management. • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives, addressing specific educational needs as directed by the teacher. • Prepare classroom materials, equipment, and assist with the organization of the learning environment. • Observe, record, and report on the progress of the students under your supervision. • Facilitate a positive and supportive atmosphere, contributing to the maintenance of discipline across the school. • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and contribute to the overall objectives of the educational team. • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times. • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: • A passion for education and a dedication to student achievement. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable. • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo checks.
