Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary School
Daily Rate: £90–£100 per day
We are currently working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is confident working flexibly across different year groups. While the setting is mainstream, some experience supporting pupils with SEND (either 1:1 or in small groups) would be highly beneficial.
The Role:
• Supporting pupils in class, in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Working across multiple year groups as needed
• Supporting children’s academic progress as well as social and emotional development
• Working closely with class teachers and school staff to deliver inclusive support
The Ideal Candidate:
• Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based role
• Has some SEND experience (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)
• Is flexible, adaptable and confident supporting different age groups
• Is caring, proactive and able to build positive relationships with pupils
