This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in behaviour support to play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: - Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs and those exhibiting challenging behaviours. - Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams to implement behaviour management strategies. - Build positive relationships with students to promote engagement, resilience, and confidence. - Support students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them achieve their full potential academically and socially. - Assist in developing and delivering interventions and behaviour support plans tailored to individual student needs. What We Are Looking For: - Previous experience in a similar role within a school setting, youth club, or related environment. - A strong understanding of SEMH and strategies for supporting challenging behaviours. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students quickly. - A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting young people. - A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This is a full time and long role, with a potential to become a permanent placement for the right person.
