Axcis are looking to appoint 2 Exceptional, Supportive and Nurturing Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants with experience of working in either an SEND or primary provision supporting SEND. We are working closely with an excellent North Leeds Primary School who are looking to cover two SEND Teaching Assistants, both for maternity cover, from January/Feb 2025 (or as soon as possible) until October 2025 (Possibly longer). The school is a 2 form entry mainstream primary school, with an over-subscribed intake and a well-supported and active parent community. The ideal candidates will have experience, personal or professional, with young people autism, learning difficulties, moderate learning difficulties or have supported pupils with mental health difficulties. The school, cater for students of all ages but predominantly, you will be supporting at a KS2 level. The role is long term and you will be expected to work on a full time basis and if you can add a specific subjetc/topic/broader knowledge on one of the following it will help: PE, Music, Art, Performing Arts, Outdoor Education.
