Axcis Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSAs) to work at a very friendly school in Wednesbury (WS10). The school are specifically looking for an outgoing and caring individual who has previous experience with severe ASD supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in smaller groups with their day to day lessons. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: • Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including ASD, Makaton, PECS • Assist the class teacher in adapting learning materials to meet individual student needs • Provide emotional and behavioural support to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment • Encourage social interaction and engagement in classroom activities • Promote positive behaviour and encourage students to participate in classroom activities • Support teachers in managing the classroom and helping with lesson preparation.
