Job Title: Student Teaching Assistant (Flexible)
Join Axcis Education as a Supply Teaching Assistant – Perfect for Graduates or Students!
Are you a graduate or student looking for a rewarding role that’s perfect for gaining experience in education? Or perhaps you're studying psychology, education or early childhood degrees and want to get hands-on experience in the classroom? Well, guess what? Axcis Education has the role for you!
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Supply Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of schools, supporting students with a variety of special educational needs (SEN). Whether you’re looking for full-time hours or part-time flexibility, we’ve got you covered!
What’s the Role?
Flexible Locations: Get ready to work in several different schools across the area. If you like variety and meeting new people, you’ll love this! One day, you might be helping students in a mainstream school, and the next, you could be supporting in a specialist setting – talk about a change of scenery!
SEN Support: You’ll be working closely with students with a range of special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them succeed. From helping with daily activities to providing emotional and educational guidance, you’ll make a real difference in their lives.
Perfect for Students/Graduates: If you’re studying psychology, education, or something similar, this role is an amazing way to apply your theory in real-world settings. You’ll gain valuable experience that will support your career aspirations – whether you’re aiming to become a teacher, educational psychologist, or something else in the education field.
Full-Time Hours Available: If you’re looking for full-time hours, we’ve got plenty of opportunities to dive in and make an impact! And, if you prefer more flexible hours, we’ve got part-time options too.
What We’re Looking For:
Graduates or Students: This role is ideal for psychology or education students (or anyone with a genuine interest in working with children and young people). If you’ve got the passion, we’ll provide the experience!
A Flexible, Can-Do Attitude: No two days are the same, so if you love variety and are excited about jumping into different environments, this role is for you.
Patience and Empathy: Working with students with SEN requires patience and understanding, and we know you’ve got plenty of both! Your ability to adapt and support students in their learning will be key.
Energy and Enthusiasm: We want someone who brings positive energy into the classroom and is ready to make the day of the students they work with.
Why Axcis Education?
Gain Hands-On Experience: You’ll get to work with students from all backgrounds and abilities, giving you a fantastic chance to apply your studies in a practical setting. It’s the perfect opportunity to see how different schools work and get valuable classroom experience.
Professional Growth: We’re here to help you develop your skills and further your career in education. Whether you want to become a teacher, educational psychologist, or explore other pathways, we’ll support your journey.
Full-Time and Flexible Hours: Want to go full-time or prefer the flexibility of part-time work? We’ve got options to suit your schedule.
A Fun, Supportive Environment: At Axcis Education, we believe in supporting our team with the right tools and guidance. We’ll help you feel confident and excited about your role!
